A contemporary, bright, fresh-feeling interior.

This perfectly balanced design pairs natural textures with sleek finishing touches to create a calming sanctuary near the bustling Battersea Power Station. Working with a private client who had a firm grasp of her personal style, Hatch eagerly made her dream a reality.

Emphasis on using gorgeous textures.

Layered textiles and varied upholstery lend a sumptuous feel.

“Exactly what I wanted!”

The Challenge

The client was a young woman relocating to London for her demanding work, so it was important that her new three-bedroom apartment felt like home.

A lover of interior design trends on Pinterest, she tasked us with creating a contemporary, boutique-feeling interior that incorporated a neutral colour palette, pops of colour, pastels, and gold and marble finishes.

The Approach

To give the beloved London home the fresh, light aesthetic the client desired whilst still evoking a sense of personality, Hatch made the design of each room flow seamlessly from one to another.

We installed bespoke panelling in most rooms to add interest and character, and used a range of beautiful fabrics and luxurious finishes to create a dreamy interior.

We designed the scheme to be emotive.

The Outcome

“Perfect!” is what the client enthusiastically said when we unveiled the interior of her new home. Using the light colours and high-end finishes that she loves, we gave her the stylish, luxurious vibe she requested.

The furniture and decor work harmoniously throughout the apartment, flowing from room to room. The third bedroom is set up as a fantastic home office to work in, and will soon become a hybrid space as a dog room.

The client, who was a pleasure to work with, is so happy that she has commissioned Hatch to design her parents’ house, as well.
